Giovinco named MLS Player of the Week for Week 22
Fear the Atomic Ant.
Toronto FC star forward Sebastian Giovinco was once again voted MLS Player of the Week, earning the honor for the second time in 2016 after scoring a hat trick in a 4-1 win over the New England Revolution.
The Italian opened the scoring in the first half with an outside-boot curling shot, burying a bouncing ball from a corner-kick routine.
He then added a second with a superb surprise shot from outside the box, which goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth failed to read correctly.

Giovinco rounded off his performance on the day with a penalty goal.
The 2015 MLS MVP previously earned the nod on July 26 for his three-goal performance against D.C. United. He currently leads the league in goals with 15 scores in 22 games, and is second in assists with 10 - three behind New York Red Bulls midfielder Sacha Kljestan.
