Gerrard spotted in Liverpool after missing LA Galaxy training
The LA Galaxy are gearing up to take on the Houston Dynamo on Sunday but might do so without midfielder Steven Gerrard, who was spotted Thursday in Liverpool after missing training earlier in the week.

Gerrard made an appearance at Liverpool's Melwood training center decked out in a gray tracksuit and clutching a water bottle. He looked "relaxed" as he "casually strolled" about the grounds, Pete South from the Daily Mail reports.
While it's not clear exactly why the former captain returned to Merseyside, it conveniently coincides with manager Jurgen Klopp's preparations for Monday's match against Manchester United.
LA Galaxy boss Bruce Arena told reporters Gerrard was "fine" after he and teammate Robbie Keane missed training Tuesday. However, Gerrard has dealt with a string of hamstring-related issues throughout the season and it seems that same issue could be responsible for this latest trip away.

The 36-year-old said earlier in the month he was unsure of his future with the club, admitting he'd thought of making a return to the Premier League in some capacity.
"I'm wondering whether I should play on for a little bit longer or whether I should call it a day. I haven't 100 percent decided on that yet," Gerrard said.
"I still enjoy playing, I still love coming into training, I still love competing, so if I can carry on and there are other opportunities to stay here, or go somewhere else for another six months or 12 months, then I'll consider it."
