Toronto FC forward Jozy Altidore has been red hot in recent weeks, and the U.S. striker kept that form going with an equalizer Sunday against the Montreal Impact in the 401 Derby with a somewhat fortuitous effort.
Altidore fumbled and bumbled his way through Laurent Ciman and goalkeeper Evan Bush using his feet and face to tap in a cross sent in perfectly by Justin Morrow from out wide on the left.
The equalizer was, as expected, short-lived, as the Impact scored a penalty just a few minutes later for a 2-1 lead.
