Former LA Galaxy star Steven Gerrard has yet to commit to the next step in his career - whether as a player or after retirement - but a report from BBC Sport indicates the ex-Liverpool skipper has been in contact with MK Dons regarding its vacant managerial position.
Gerrard, 36, will not be returning to the LA Galaxy for the 2017 season after spending the last two years in Major League Soccer. He has also been linked with an assistant's role at Liverpool.
BBC Sport understands that while Gerrard has been in contact with the club, there is no indication yet whether he would retire from playing even if he lands the job.
MK Dons has been without a manager since Karl Robinson was sacked on Oct. 23.
