The Seattle Sounders took a huge step towards becoming Western Conference Champions for the very first time - and booking a spot in the 2016 MLS Cup final - as Jordan Morris scored a 56th-minute away goal against the Colorado Rapids to give his team a 3-1 lead on aggregate.
Morris got on the end of a smart bit of interplay with Nelson Valdez and beat goalkeeper Zac MacMath with a cheeky chipped effort, but went down immediately looking to have picked up a knock on his right knee.
He hobbled back onto the field and the Sounders now have another half-hour to prevent the lowest-scoring team in MLS from scoring three unanswered goals.
