Sounders win MLS Cup without recording shot on target

The Seattle Sounders made history Saturday night, on multiple fronts.
Not only did the club claim its first-ever MLS Cup title by outlasting Toronto FC, 5-4 on penalties, but after an invisible attacking display, the Sounders also became the first team in league history to capture the hardware despite going the entire match without recording a single shot on target.

Not one, in over 120 minutes of frigid, chippy action.
Look away, Toronto FC fans. The stats make for some grim viewing, considering the result:
