The Montreal Impact secured its first win of the 2017 MLS season by way of a last-second goal by Anthony Jackson-Hamel, who scored off a lucky bounce from a flicked effort to earn a 2-1 result against visiting Atlanta United.

Only the most loyal fans at Stade Saputo were treated to the game-winning goal as the emptying stadium hosted late drama in the form of a 93rd-minute flicked effort by Jackson-Hamel, which came off a long-range shot by Hernan Bernardello, and bounced fortuitously past goalkeeper Alec Kann.

Atlanta, reduced to 10 men after Leandro Gonzalez Pirez picked up a red card at the stroke of half-time, suffered its second loss of its inaugural year as a result.
