Sebastian Giovinco had a smell for goal throughout the first half-hour of play in Toronto FC's Friday night clash against the Chicago Fire, coolly slotting home at the 28-minute mark off a smart bit of interplay to open the scoring at BMO Field.
The Atomic Ant had peppered Jorge Bava's goal with shots throughout the opening stanza of the match, and finally found his reward when the Reds sprung on a counter, with the ball eventually finding him in front of goal.
Though the passing movement in the buildup was equally impressive, Giovinco's confident finish was the cherry on top.
Eriq Zavaleta then added a goal of his own just a few minutes later to give Toronto a 2-0 lead, heading home off a corner routine to record his second professional goal.
It's two. #TORvCHI https://t.co/ujZmVa3eMF
