Altidore forced off minutes into Toronto FC's massive clash at Club America
Jozy Altidore lasted merely seven minutes before he was forced to withdraw from Toronto FC's CONCACAF Champions League semifinal at Club America with an injury.
Greg Vanney was already robbed of the services of Victor Vazquez, Chris Mavinga, and Justin Morrow for Tuesday's second-leg bout, and then had to introduce Tosaint Ricketts in Altidore's stead when the United States international seemed to suffer an ailment to his leg.
Without its talismanic striker leading the line, Toronto FC still opened the scoring at the Estadio Azteca. Ricketts' tussle with William da Silva saw the ball spill to Jonathan Osorio, who continued his rich vein of form with a cool finish past Agustin Marchesin on 12 minutes.

Altidore scored Toronto FC's second in last week's 3-1 win over Club America at BMO Field, and netted in the first leg of the quarterfinals against Tigres.
