Balogun will miss around 3 months, says Monaco boss Hutter
American international Folarin Balogun will be out of action for some three months after picking up a shoulder injury, Monaco coach Adi Hutter said Friday.
"Folarin will undergo surgery in the next few days and will be out for around three months," Hutter told a press conference.
After suffering a dislocated glenohumeral joint in his left shoulder in early October, the 23-year-old returned to play two matches before missing out against Toulouse last weekend and midweek against Arsenal.
Balogun has scored three goals in 10 matches in all competitions for Monaco this season.
A product of Premier League club Arsenal's academy, Balogun joined the principality side in August 2023 after a successful loan spell at Reims.
In Ligue 1, he boasts a record of 31 goals and nine assists in 73 outings for both Monaco and Reims.
