Report: Guzan omitted from U.S national team due to injury
Aston Villa is already dealing with a number of injury problems and manager Paul Lambert may have to add goalkeeper Brad Guzan to the walking wounded list.
The Express and Star reports Guzan was left out of the U.S national team's squad for friendlies versus Scotland and Austria because of an injury.
Guzan was expected to received a start in at least one of those games after starting in the USA's final World Cup qualifier versus Panama.
The injury afflicting Guzan hasn't been disclosed, but if he isn't able to recover in time to face West Brom on Nov. 25 Shay Given could be given the start.
