VIDEO: Osvaldo Alonso's 30-yard strike vs. Tottenham

Much of the hype surrounding Saturday's friendly between Tottenham and the Seattle Sounders had to do with Clint Dempsey, who the North London club sold to the Sounders for $9 million last summer.
But it was Osvaldo Alonso, who hasn't scored in 17 MLS appearances this season, that provided the highlight of the match. Upon finding himself with the ball 30 yards away from goal in the 49th minute, Alonso saw an opening and proceeded to unleash a screamer past an outstretched Brad Friedel.
Friedel's reaction to the goal says it all.
