PHOTO: Columbus Crew unveil new logo
The most awkward logo in Major League Soccer has finally been overhauled to a respectable level as the Columbus Crew unveiled its new logo Wednesday.
The old logo - widely considered one of the worst in sports - has been replaced with a fresh design featuring a yellow theme and the year the club was founded, all within a circular design. And, thankfully, no odd looking miners wearing hard hats.
As part of the team's re-branding, the club also introduced its extended new name, Columbus Crew SC.
