The New York Red Bulls are parting ways with head coach Mike Petke.
The team announced Wednesday that Petke, who has been at the helm of the club for the past two seasons, will not resume his role behind the bench in 2015.
"On behalf of the New York Red Bulls, I want to thank Mike for his service to the club these past two seasons as head coach," sporting director Ali Curtis said in a very brief statement. "Mike will always be an important member of the Red Bull family."
