"We are delighted to have David and Adrian join our Club," general manager Paul McDonough said. "Both are well-versed players who will strengthen our backline and attacking third. We believe they're solid additions to our club, who will make an impact right away."
Mateos, a centre-back, spent nearly seven years climbing the ranks through Real Madrid's youth system, during which time he played alongside Kaka, whom he'll take the pitch with once again at Orlando City.
Winter, meanwhile, spent the last five seasons of his career at FC Luzern, scoring 15 goals in 130 appearances.
