VIDEO: Darlington Nagbe scores 1st-half brace vs. Colorado
Needing a win or potentially just a draw to secure a playoff spot, Portland Timbers midfielder Darlington Nagbe scored a sensational free-kick to open the scoring against the Colorado Rapids and then added a second with a headed effort to give his side a 2-1 lead at halftime.
Nagbe lined up his shot and fired home over the wall and past goalkeeper Clint Irwin with power and purpose for a 1-0 lead.
