VIDEO: Hollingshead, Perez goals bring FC Dallas back into series
Can FC Dallas rally, against all odds?
That's the question that Dallas left full-back Ryan Hollingshead and forward Blas Perez are asking of the Portland Timbers, as the two found the back of the net in the 68th and 73rd minute respectively to bring the Western Conference Championship series to 4-3 on aggregate.
Hollingshead got under an incredible over-the-top pass by Mauro Diaz and struck first time to beat Timbers goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey to equalize at Toyota Stadium at 1-1, cutting Portland's lead to only two goals.
Perez then scored minutes later off a perfect set piece, getting his head on a curling dead-ball play to cut that lead down to 4-3 on aggregate. Should Dallas score one more goal before the final whistle, the series will go into added time.
