LA Galaxy acquires goalkeeper Dan Kennedy from FC Dallas

The LA Galaxy have acquired veteran goalkeeper Dan Kennedy from FC Dallas in exchange for its second- and third-round picks in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft.
Kennedy is set to become the Galaxy's starter after the club declined its option on Donovan Ricketts earlier in the month.

Kennedy, 33, has played in MLS for nine years, making 160 appearances and 481 saves throughout his career.
He was selected first overall by FC Dallas in last year's Dispersal Draft, which occurred after Chivas USA folded.
