Houston Dynamo sign free-agent left full-back Jalil Anibaba
The Houston Dynamo have brought in meaningful competition to the left full-back role, signing free-agent defender Jalil Anibaba.
Last with Sporting Kansas City, Anibaba, 27, joins a Houston side that also features U.S. international DaMarcus Beasley in the left full-back spot.

"We are delighted to bring a player of Jalil’s quality and experience to our club," Dynamo head coach Owen Coyle said in a statement.
"We’re very pleased to announce the addition of Jalil to our roster," Dynamo general manager Matt Jordan added. "His MLS experience, athleticism, and professional approach to the game will be a welcomed addition to our back line. He joins our club at a very good age and is eager to contribute to the success of the team moving forward."
Anibaba, a five-year league veteran, has appeared in 128 fixtures, starting 121. He has five goals and 10 appearances in that time.
