First surprise: Philadelphia selects Keegan Rosenberry 3rd overall in SuperDraft

Georgetown University is having quite a stellar year, as the Hoyas' 22-year-old right full-back Keegan Rosenberry heads to Talen Energy Stadium.
The Philadelphia Union selected Rosenberry with the third overall pick in the draft on Thursday, a move that helps the team shore up a position of need in a league that is relatively thin in attacking full-backs.
Rosenberry links up with fellow Hoyas defender Joshua Yaro, who was projected to go first overall, but fell to second. The Union, having traded with the Colorado Rapids for the second pick minutes before the draft began, snapped Yaro up immediately, then chose Rosenberry third.
The chemistry between the two defenders will help the Union's struggling back line in the 2016 MLS season.
The 5-foot-8 defender is the archetypal overlapping full-back, and recorded six assists and scored two goals last season for his efforts out wide last season.
