On Thursday, the New England Revolution selected McCrary with the 10th overall pick in the 2016 MLS SuperDraft, an acquisition that will provide the club with an another option at both right-back and left-back.
McCrary, 22, was named to the NSCAA Third Team All-South Region in 2015, an honour that came after he tore his anterior cruciate ligament injury and was forced to miss what would have been his senior year at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
