PHOTOS: Sporting KC pays homage to Wiz-era with 20th anniversary kits

The Kansas City Wizards are back ... kind of.
As part of its 20th-anniversary celebrations, Sporting Kansas City will pay homage to its club history, by way of the Kansas City Wiz, and will wear special throwback jerseys with rainbow-coloured numbers when they take on the Colorado Rapids on April 13.

The rainbow print is a direct nod to the kits worn by the KC Wiz back in the formative years of MLS.

The team will also don retro rainbow-sash training kits before kickoff at 8:30 p.m. ET at Children's Mercy Park.
