Diego Brandao was arrested on Friday after allegedly hitting a strip club employee in the face with a firearm in Albuquerque, N.M., Katy Barnitz and Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal report.
Brandao, who's on temporary suspension from the UFC after testing positive for marijuana in March, has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault.
The incident escalated after an argument between a DJ and Brandao, ending when the latter returned to the club with a hand gun, which he struck a separate employee with.
The UFC veteran also allegedly pointed the gun at a number of patrons.
The Brazilian holds a 20-11 professional record. He last fought in January, losing to Brian Ortega via third-round submission.
