McGregor tweets he's 'BACK on UFC 200!'

Gary A. Vasquez / USA TODAY

Conor McGregor will fight at UFC 200 after all, according to the brash Irishman:

McGregor was originally scheduled to fight Nate Diaz at the event on July 9, before he tweeted last week that he was opting for an early retirement, sending shock waves through mixed martial arts. The UFC subsequently pulled him from the card due to a dispute over media obligations, but it appears - based on McGregor's tweet alone - an agreement has been reached that will see his rematch with Diaz take place.

Neither the UFC nor Dana White has commented on or confirmed McGregor's announcement.

Last week, Diaz was open about wanting to fight McGregor and McGregor only.

"I came to fight Conor McGregor and I don't really have too much interest in anybody else," he said. "I don't have any interest in fighting at all, but if that's what we're gonna do I thought we were gonna do it."
