Brock Lesnar confirmed for UFC 200
The UFC announced Saturday that Brock Lesnar will make his return to the Octagon at UFC 200.
Lesnar's opponent has yet to be announced, but it will reportedly be revealed Monday, per Jeremy Botter of FloSports.
The 38-year-old is still under contract with the WWE, but they approved of him making his return to the UFC.
"Brock Lesnar remains under contract to WWE, however, he has been granted a one-off opportunity to compete at UFC 200," the WWE said in a statement. "Following this milestone event on July 9, Brock will return to WWE for SummerSlam on Sunday, Aug. 21, live on WWE Network."
Lesnar last fought at UFC 141 against Alistair Overeem in December 2011, losing via technical knockout (body kick and punches). He previously held the UFC heavyweight championship from 2008-10, defending the belt twice.
