Sometimes it's better to take the easy way out.
Friday's Titan Fighting Championship event got off to a bizarre start when featherweight Luis Zequiera refused to allow his fight with Raush Manfio to be stopped after an accidental eye poke.
The cageside doctor initially waved off the bout, which would probably have been ruled a no-contest, but Zequiera loudly protested the call. That appeared to be enough for the doctor, who after a second look told the referee that the fight could continue.
Two minutes later, both of Zequiera's eyes were closed shut by a furious knee from Manfio.
