The first UFC win of Joe Soto's career couldn't have come in more dramatic fashion.
Winless in three Octagon appearances, Soto was being badly out-boxed by bantamweight prospect Chris Beal for much of their UFC Fight Night 89 meeting. In the final round, Soto went to his wrestling to take Beal to the canvas.
A clearly tiring Beal failed to detach Soto from his back and soon he was trapped in a tight rear-naked choke that forced him to submit.
