GSP on Bisping fight: 'They got my number. They can call my agent'
UFC legend Georges St-Pierre all but confirmed his impending return to the octagon on Monday, telling Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com he was ready to fight for the first time since 2013.
A rumored bout with current middleweight champion Michael Bisping appears to be on the table for the Canadian star.
"They got my number," GSP said of UFC matchmakers. "They can call my agent, no problem."
In the lengthy interview on "The MMA Hour," St-Pierre compared his skills to Bisping's, saying he had more athleticism, in addition to a higher fighting I.Q.
He also indicated Bisping's stance against performance-enhancing drugs has earned his admiration, saying: "He's someone who has my respect."
While nothing is official, it seems a GSP return against Bisping is increasingly likely, with the MMA icon looking to join B.J. Penn and Randy Couture as the only UFC fighters to win belts in different weight classes.
