Tony Ferguson has a new opponent, and UFC Fight Night 91 has a new main event.

With originally scheduled opponent Michael Chiesa being forced out with a back injury, newcomer Lando Vannata has been selected as a replacement to fight Ferguson on the July 13 card in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The change was reported Tuesday by the UFC.

Chiesa and Ferguson were originally scheduled to be the main event, but a bantamweight bout between Michael McDonald and John Lineker will now close out the show.

Vannata represents a steep drop off in name recognition for Ferguson, who is No. 3 in the UFC's lightweight rankings. A natural featherweight, the 24-year-old Vannata hails from the esteemed Jackson-Wink MMA team and is undefeated in eight professional MMA appearances.

It will be the first main event for Lineker, who made the move to 135 pounds after his otherwise successful run at flyweight was marred by his inability to consistently make the 125-pound limit.

Despite the late change, it's expected the McDonald-Lineker bout will be a five-round affair, as is standard for all UFC main events.
