White: Henderson-Bisping in the works for potential England card
Interviewing UFC president Dana White on the UFC 200 post-fight show Saturday night, Michael Bisping got the answer to his most important question.
"We're gonna do Dan Henderson versus Michael Bisping," White told Bisping after the middleweight champion asked what the plans were for his first title defense.
White went on to say that the fight could take place in Manchester, England, the city that Bisping happens to reside in.
"It's a fight the champ wants. It's a fight the fans want," said White. "We're hoping to do it in Manchester."
Bisping and Henderson have been campaigning to fight each other ever since Bisping knocked out Luke Rockhold to win the middleweight title at UFC 199. On that same card, Henderson also earned a knockout victory against Hector Lombard.
The two UFC veterans fought once before at UFC 100 on July 11, 2009. Henderson won that fight with a vicious second-round KO.
