"Big" John McCarthy will be in charge of one of the UFC's most anticipated rematches.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission named McCarthy as the official for Conor McGregor versus Nate Diaz in the main event of UFC 202 on Aug. 20 in Las Vegas, according to ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

The judges for the bout will be Derek Cleary, Jeff Mullen, and Glenn Trowbridge.

Herb Dean officiated the first meeting between McGregor and Diaz at UFC 196, a submission win for Diaz.

One of the most respected officials in MMA, McCarthy previously oversaw McGregor's fight against then-featherweight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 194, a bout that McGregor won via 13-second KO.
