Herrig chokes out Curran after long layoff

Felice Herrig's self-imposed 460-day layoff did her some good.
Herrig made short work of Kailin Curran in her first fight back, winning by rear-naked choke in the first round. "The Lil' Bulldog" landed a takedown, deftly passing Curran's guard and taking her back to sink in the choke.
The victory improved Herrig's record to 11-6, while Curran's UFC record dropped to 1-3.
