Krylov, Hamilton, Reis record sensational finishes on UFC 201 prelims
Nikita Krylov capped off an exciting set of preliminaries with a no-doubt head-kick KO of Ed Herman in the featured preliminary bout of UFC 201 on Saturday in Atlanta.
Light Heavyweight Bout: Nikita Krylov def. Ed Herman via 2nd-round KO
Make it five straight wins and five straight finishes for Nikita Krylov.
The 24-year-old confirmed his status as one to watch at 205 pounds with a head kick that shut down veteran Ed Herman in the second round.

Krylov is now 5-1 since dropping to light heavyweight two years ago. The knockout of Herman was his 21st finish in 21 professional fights.
The two fighters went at each other in a fun first round, with neither willing to give an inch. Herman had some success with a takedown off a lunging punch, but for the most part it was Krylov who scored points with his array of crafty kicks.
In Round 2, Krylov continued to batter Herman with his legs before setting up the finish.
Herman was competing at light heavyweight for just the second time in his UFC career. He falls to 1-1 at 205 pounds and 10-8 in the Octagon overall.
Welterweight Bout: Jorge Masvidal def. Ross Pearson via unanimous decision
Jorge Masvidal can't buy a finish.
Masvidal ended a two-fight skid to spoil Ross Pearson's welterweight debut. The first round saw Pearson play the aggressor, but Masvidal carefully picked his shots, using his reach to outland the Brit. Masvidal dropped Pearson with a left hook to open the second, following it with a flurry "The Real Deal" miraculously survived.

The third round largely echoed the first, with Pearson appearing the busier fighter but failing to land anything of substance. Masvidal earned his 30th career victory, his 17th by decision, while Pearson fell to 19-12-1.
Heavyweight Bout: Anthony Hamilton def. Damian Grabowski via 1st-round KO
Anthony Hamilton's most impressive UFC win almost happened too quickly for him to appreciate it.
It took all of 14 seconds for Hamilton to close the distance with Damian Grabowski and demolish him with a series of uppercuts. Hamilton struck the wilting Grabowski until the referee mercifully jumped in to wave off the bout.
The knockout was the second-fastest in UFC heavyweight history behind Todd Duffee's seven-second KO of Tim Hague at UFC 102 in August 2009.
Hamilton moves to an even 3-3 in the UFC, having alternated wins and losses since joining the promotion.
In his two UFC appearances, Grabowski has lost by first-round KO both times.
Flyweight Bout: Wilson Reis def. Hector Sandoval via 1st-round submission (rear-naked choke)
Despite the scrapped title shot, Wilson Reis came to fight.
Wilson Reis, who was scheduled to fight Demetrious Johnson for the flyweight belt just a few weeks ago, made short work of newcomer Hector Sandoval. Both fighters came out swinging, but Sandoval was quickly stripped of his rookie gusto and got tossed around by the bigger, stronger Reis.
The Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt had no problem taking Sandoval's back, notching his 10th career submission victory - also the fastest in flyweight division history - with the choke.

In his post-fight interview, Reis called for either the title shot he was promised or a fight with Ian McCall.
