Undefeated Alexa Grasso to make UFC debut in November
The 115-pound division is quietly becoming one of the UFC's most intriguing weight classes.
Invicta FC standout Alexa Grasso will make her UFC debut at The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America 3 Finale on Nov. 5, according to MMAjunkie.
The signing was first reported by Rodrigo Del Campo of Mexico's Indiscutido.
For her first Octagon appointment, Grasso will fight in her home country of Mexico City against Heather Jo Clark.
Grasso is the latest addition to a budding roster of strawweights. The 23-year-old is a promising prospect, having started her career 7-0, including four wins in Invicta FC, the UFC's sister organization. Her most recent appearance saw her earn a unanimous decision over Jodie Esquibel.
Clark joined the UFC in 2014 after being a contestant on the 20th season of "The Ultimate Fighter." She is coming off a loss to top 10 strawweight Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
