'Cowboy' Cerrone re-ups with UFC on 8-fight deal
Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone is getting back in the saddle for another eight fights with the UFC.
According to MMAjunkie, officials confirmed that Cerrone signed a contract extension with the promotion on Thursday. Cerrone had one fight left on his contract after a TKO-win over Rick Story at UFC 202.
Cerrone celebrated the news on Twitter:

One of the UFC's most active fighters, Cerrone has won 11 of 12 fights since August 2013, including a 3-0 record at 170 pounds that has earned him the unique distinction of being ranked in the top 10 at both welterweight and lightweight.
Cerrone's win over Story was the 18th of his UFC career, tying him for second most in the history of the promotion. It looks like he'll be adding to that tally soon.
