Cyborg roasts Rousey: 'I watched her shadowbox, and the shadow won'
Cris Cyborg has upped the ante in her ongoing public feud with Ronda Rousey.
This time, she's turned to jokes about Rousey's striking ability to illustrate her persistent point - that she will destroy any woman in the Octagon.
"I watched her shadowbox, and the shadow won," Cyborg told Jason Whitlock Thursday on Speak for Yourself. "My last fight, I broke the nose of the girl in three places. And if I fight her, she'll have to do surgery on her face after. I'm not kidding."
Rousey isn't expected to be at full health until 2017, so a super fight between the two would have to wait until at least then, but that has not stopped Cyborg from campaigning heavily for the bout.
UFC president Dana White indicated it isn't just Cyborg who wants the fight, saying recently "Ronda wants to fight her."
