Jon Jones is about to become the first UFC fighter to test out the United States Anti-Doping Agency arbitration process.

According to MMA Fighting's Ariel Helwani, Jones will meet with the USADA in Los Angeles on Oct. 31 at a hearing to address the July doping violation that currently has him temporarily suspended from competition. The infraction removed Jones from the main event of UFC 200 just three days before fight night.

The Nevada State Athletic Commission later revealed that Jones tested positive for estrogen blockers, which are banned due to their potential application in steroid cycles.

Jones could be facing a suspension of up to one year, according to guidelines set down by the World Anti-Doping Agency.

When his case with USADA is resolved, Jones will still need to deal with the NSAC, who could administer their own suspension in addition to other penalties. That commission meets with Jones on Nov. 10.
