5-foot-8 kickboxer defeats 7-foot-2 Hong-man Choi in freaky contest
In the latest installment of the adventures of Hong-man Choi, "The Techno Goliath" found himself on the wrong end of an underdog story.
Facing 5-foot-8 Zhou Zhi Peng in a kickboxing match in South Korea, Choi was soundly outpointed en route to a unanimous decision loss despite being a foot-and-a-half taller, and 150 pounds heavier than his opponent.
It's worth noting that Choi hasn't exactly been a dominant force in the world of combat sports despite his massive size. This was his first kickboxing appearance in eight years and he hasn't recorded a win since September 2007.
They say nobody roots for Goliath, but at least promotions keep paying him to show up.
