Lima KOs Koreshkov to regain Bellator welterweight title

Douglas Lima is Bellator welterweight champion again.

The 28-year-old got a measure of revenge against Andrey Koreshkov in the main event of Bellator 164, knocking him out with a counter right hand in Round 3 to regain the belt Koreshkov took from him in July.

The event, which took place Thursday in Tel Aviv, Israel, re-aired in North America on tape delay Friday night.

It was a bitter end for Koreshkov, who was looking to defend the welterweight title for a second time. Instead, he suffered just the second loss of his 21-fight career.
