Wahlberg: McGregor can have a piece of my UFC ownership
One of Hollywood's biggest stars is eager to be in Conor McGregor's corner.
Mark Wahlberg spoke to TMZ Sports on Friday and said that if the Irish superstar is looking for a piece of the UFC, he's welcome to have some of Wahlberg's share.
"Absolutely," said Wahlberg. "As a matter of fact, I'll give him a piece of mine because he is the face of the UFC right now. He deserves that but also in business you've got to cut the check."
If the UFC decides not to invite McGregor to join the corporate side of the promotion, Wahlberg thinks that he and McGregor could still end up collaborating in the future.
"He's a hustler like me so there's probably a lot of other opportunities for us to go out there and make money and work together," said Wahlberg.
Could fans soon see McGregor being involved in one of Wahlberg's films? Fellow UFC star Ronda Rousey had a starring role in the Wahlberg-produced "Entourage" film and the entertainment mogul thinks it's inevitable that McGregor tries his hand at acting.
"He's a movie waiting to happen, why not?"
