Agent: McGregor 'willing to entertain' WWE contract offer

Conor McGregor's newly updated trophy case could one day include a WWE title.

The UFC's first fighter to simultaneously sit atop two weight classes is willing to entertain a career in the squared circle should an offer come his way, says his agent Audie Attar in a Tuesday appearance on ESPN's "5ive Rounds" podcast.

"I think it's all about business, man," Attar said, according to ESPN's Brian Campbell. "If (WWE) is going to come with an offer, we are willing to entertain it. We are here. Have their people call his people - which is me. We can have a conversation."

The Irishman's history-making exploits at UFC 205 - where he added the lightweight title to his featherweight strap with a second-round knockout of Eddie Alvarez - have earned him a shining endorsement from WWE legend Triple H, who witnessed them cageside.

McGregor has a baby on the way and UFC president Dana White recently ruled him out of the Octagon until May, but Attar says "The Notorious" just might cross over if the offer has the right amount of zeroes.

"Again, I think ultimately Conor will say, 'Let me talk to my friend Benjamin (Franklin) to see how many of his friends he's bringing with him before we talk about what the obligations are.'"
