Garbrandt calls for advance drug testing for Dillashaw fight

Cody Garbrandt isn't known for mincing words, but he took the scenic route in his latest jab at TJ Dillashaw.

Mere hours after the UFC announced he would coach "TUF 25" opposite Dillashaw in April before defending the bantamweight title against him at a later date, Garbrandt took to Twitter to call for advance drug testing for his meeting with the former champ, implying Dillashaw may be indulging in performance-enhancing substances.

The "TUF 14" finalist has never been flagged for banned substances in his six-year career.

There's no love lost between the reigning champ and the 30-year-old Dillashaw, a former training partner of Garbrandt's who unceremoniously left Team Alpha Male in late 2015. The bad blood didn't end there, as "No Love" repeatedly found himself on the receiving end of Dillashaw's chagrin after he was tapped to challenge Dominick Cruz for the title at UFC 207. Garbrandt then bluntly challenged his former teammate to duke it out in the Octagon once he'd scored a unanimous-decision victory over Cruz.

Expect tempers to continue to flare during the newest season of "TUF," which premieres April 19.
