Rothwell challenges Werdum on Twitter
Ben Rothwell isn't going to miss out on his chance to fight Fabricio Werdum again.
On Saturday, "Big Ben" tweeted a challenge to the former heavyweight champion to offer a bout that was originally scheduled for September at UFC 203.
Mr. @FabricioWerdum I don't think your getting the next title shot, and you may know I'm right. You and I fighting now makes the most sense

Rothwell was looking to bounce back from a loss to Junior dos Santos by taking on Werdum, but he suffered a knee injury a month out from their encounter and was removed from the card. He was replaced by Travis Browne, who would go on to lose to Werdum by unanimous decision for a second time.
Werdum has been angling for another shot at UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic after dropping his title to Miocic in May. Rumors are swirling around a Miocic-Dos Santos rematch instead, which would leave Werdum free to take on Rothwell should he acknowledge the call out.
