The bright lights of BAMMA did not intimidate Paul Hughes.
Competing for the first time in the long-running European promotion, the 19-year-old featherweight put on an impressive striking display, then finished opponent Adam Gustab just 92 seconds into the opening round of their fight at a joint BAMMA/Bellator show Friday in Belfast, Ireland.
Hughes had Gustab hurt early and never let up, firing away with heavy hooks and crisp knees until the referee was forced to step in.
