Thirteen-year MMA veteran Luiz Dutra only needed to throw one punch to put a stop to his latest fight.
Unfortunately, it was Dutra himself who got the worst of it.
Competing at World Fighting Championship Akhmat on Saturday in Moscow, the former UFC fighter saw his evening end in under 30 seconds as he threw a wild strike before falling to the mat with his right arm extended in agony. Initial reports indicate that he may have suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Dutra's injury is the latest reminder of how cruel the sport of MMA can be.
