Zach Makovsky has a new promotion to call home.

A month after he and the UFC parted ways, the longtime flyweight took to Twitter to announce he's signed a three-fight deal with fledgling Russian outfit Absolute Championship Berkut.

"Fun Size" will look to rejuvenate his 10-year career in ACB after dropping three straight decisions in the Octagon. A former Bellator bantamweight champion, the 33-year-old made his UFC flyweight debut in December 2013 at UFC on FOX 9, where he bested WEC alum Scott Jorgensen in a sweep of the scorecards. After winning three of his first four UFC contests, the Pennsylvania product fell to former title challengers John Dodson and Joseph Benavidez, then dropped a close split decision to Dustin Ortiz at UFC 206 in what proved to be his last trip to the Octagon.

Makovsky left the UFC with a promotional record of 3-4 and takes a professional slate of 19-8 to ACB.
