UFC's next trip to Asia could feature one of its most promising MMA prospects, as the promotion officially signed 30-year-old Beijing native Wang Guan on Tuesday.
"The Dongbei Tiger" is expected to debut at a UFC Fight Night event in Singapore on June 17.
"I will continue to keep a clean record in the UFC, showing the world my 'China Power,'" Guan said in the press release. "It's a dream come true, my ability is approved by the UFC now. This also means the opponents I face next will be the best in the world. This will push me to train even harder."
Wang has a 15-1-1 record and is currently on a three-fight win streak, all by knockout.
