Rafael dos Anjos may have scored first blood in his social media battle with Colby Covington, but "Chaos" isn't backing down from the former UFC lightweight champion.
After Dos Anjos joked he had to use Google just to find out who Covington was, Covington responded Wednesday with a mock screenshot of what is supposed to be RDA's e-mail inbox.
The gags include Dos Anjos contemplating breaking his own foot to avoid fighting Covington (an allusion to a 2016 injury that forced Dos Anjos to withdraw from a bout with Conor McGregor), dodging USADA drug testers, and making overtures to Bellator MMA.
Covington also directs some lighthearted cracks at a bunch of other well known MMA personalities including Jon Jones, Joe Rogan, and Ariel Helwani.
The budding feud revolves around Dos Anjos' impending move up to the 170-lb division and Covington's desire to book a match with him.
