Gunnar Nelson simply can't be beaten in London.
The Icelandic submission specialist rocked Alan Jouban with a sneaky right hand and head kick Saturday before tapping him with a mounted guillotine choke 46 seconds into Round 2 of UFC Fight Night 107's welterweight co-main event.
The 28-year-old's second consecutive submission win improved his record in the British capital to a perfect 5-0 and his promotional slate to 7-2.
The style clash lived up to its billing in the opening round. Jouban kept Nelson at bay with some calculated striking from range in the early going, while Nelson dominated the latter half of the frame by putting "Brahma" on his back and having his way with him, effortlessly moving from side control to full mount.
Jouban made it to the second-round horn only to be stunned by Nelson's sneaky striking and then handed his first career submission loss in 20 pro bouts within the frame's first minute.
The 35-year-old had begun lobbying for a ranked opponent after mounting three straight wins in 2016, but will likely return to facing mid-tier competition with the flash tapout loss. Jouban's UFC record now stands at 6-3.
