Rafael dos Anjos will make his welterweight debut at UFC 212 on June 3 in Rio de Janeiro.
The former lightweight champion made the announcement Friday via Instagram, writing that he "can't wait to be inside the cage":
Dos Anjos did not say who he would be fighting, though he has been angling to make his 170-pound debut against a top-10 opponent.
The 32-year-old Brazilian decided to change divisions after a rough 2016 that saw him lose the lightweight title to Eddie Alvarez and drop a unanimous decision to Tony Ferguson in his most recent outing.
